University Way Finder Are Important On Campus

Amid the initial couple of years of my residency I thought that it was difficult to discover my way around the immense sprawling grounds of the University Of Minnesota. I am a professor of Medicine and more often than not I have gotten lost when trying to find the way to my own class. The initial couple of days were horrible, as I was almost always late for most of my classes, and it reached the point that most students would leave the classroom thinking that I would not be coming to teach.

I totally adored teaching however the cold of  Minnesota  was at times to much too handle for this old soul, and more often than not I would be shivering in the cold while trying to find my way back to class. On occasion it would get truly baffling as the icy Minnesota air would truly clutter up my old bones, and I would feel the torment for a considerable length of time and days to come.

However that would soon change when the college at long last chose to put in a hospital way finding sign. The classes for most pre-meds student were adjacent to the hospital and hence it made sense to ensure that we get a hospital way finding sign, as later on I would find out that I wasn’t the only one who was unable to find his way on to the medical college.

The design firm that got the contract went by the name of Visual Communications and they did a bang up job of getting the sign ready in a matter of weeks. They had the sign up and it became really easy for me and the other faculty members to find our way around campus. They had one erected around every major precipice and it became really easy to find out where you were going at all times.

If you are ever looking to get a sign made for yourself ensure that you go for the folks at Visual Communications as they are amongst the best at what they do.

Environmental graphic designers not only create signage systems they also work on the interpretative environments that often tell a story or communicate a theme.  Their expertise can be very useful in the design of a new retail store and revamps of brand image as well.

While wayfinding signage allows one to get the vital information necessary to navigate a campus or a store, place making deals with basic concepts of brand image. The environmental graphic designers work on infusing a unique sense of place by creating a specific vibe. The Best Environmental Graphic Design

I have been working with various nonprofits for the past few months or so, and have grown accustomed to the rigorous travelling regimes that come along with them, so much so that after a while it became a habit.

In recent years I decided to head to India and Cambodia to work with a couple of non-profits. While we talked about renewable energy and other ways through which the environment could benefit, I noticed that there was a very serious issue of pollution in both the countries, and there were no programs which were   raising awareness for this cause and hence I decided it would be beneficial if we could do something along those lines.

After I returned home I decided to ponder the number of different choices that I had and how I could solve this problem.  It was by mere chance that I saw a recycling billboard while I was walking down the streets of my hometown, I found it to be extremely pleasing and upon further inquiry I was told it was made by a company called Visual Communications.  I proceeded to hire them and boy did they do a fantastic job.

This time around when I visited India I noticed that our audience was much more engaged due to the pictures and the videos of the Environmental Signage, there was a better understanding amongst our targeted audience and they seemed to be interested in the words and the pictorials that we were showing.

If you ever need a logo or a sign don’t hesitate to contact these guys as they are absolutely brilliant at what they do.
